• Lineart - Cleaner renders built off sketches that fine-tune the sketch into something smoother, cleaner, and detailed in monochrome - This process prioritizes quality and detail, but takes more time, allowing for higher fidelity and a perfect base for coloring. Often have a smooth, finessed, and 'inky' feel.

• Tones - are monochromatic / texture based toning similar to a manga panel. May also come with minor accent color (glowing eyes, tattoo, painted lips, magic spell etc.)
Fast - Moderate turnaround.• Light Color/Flats - are softer, lighter layers of color applied to a sketch or linework, giving it life and hue, but focusing on speed, leaving it 'looser' and less refined / lower in detail with less 'rendered' shading and simpler effects. Usually 'flatter', or cel-style, shading.
Fast - Moderate turnaround.• Full Renders - are in-depth and rich layers of color with the full range of shading, lighting FX, and special FX such as water, fire, magic, etc. This process focuses on the greatest level of detail and high fidelity results but takes a long time to complete. The final result is a more illustrative piece that takes a long time to complete.

•Sequence / Comic StyleSeries of images with moderate to significant changes, in sequential order - pseudo-comic style.Variable. Per Basis. As a rough estimate, changes range from 15 - 50% of total price per sequential image/panel.Moderate - SlowSequential versions include Moderate - Significant alterations on the base image - with changes to pose, character actions, setting, or interactions with another subject. Example: A woman lounges on a couch as a base image; in the next image in the sequence, her facial expression and pose changes to one of a sensual nature, pleasuring herself; in the third, her pose and facial expression changes once again to that of a climactic peak, a mess left behind. Each part of the sequence is a moderate to significant change in clothing, facial expressions, pose etc.; and therefore requires major alterations to linework, color, and shading with added details on top.
•BackgroundsSettings / Locations / BackgroundsVariable. Per Basis dependent upon level of detail. As a rough estimate, ranges from 0 - 50% of base price.Fast - SlowSimple Backgrounds (Solid colors, watercolor splash, sticker-style outlines, simple patterns, etc) are FREE. More Complex Backgrounds are in a percentage based sliding scale dependent upon the level of detail requested. The more complex, the more time and effort to produce, the higher the price. Since I dislike backgrounds, I charge for the trouble of drawing something I don't necessarily enjoy.
•Custom Design Fee (Character Design, Outfit Design, etc.)Any commission where the commissioner tasks me with the Design of a character / outfit / tattoo etc. from scratch or with minimal reference. Creating from nothing is a lot of work and man-hours.Typically 10% - 30% of base price, Per Basis, based on complexity, number of iterations, and various other factors.Fast - SlowThe process of Customized Designs can sometimes require many sketches, mockups, and options to choose from. This process can be arduous and take time, requiring many preliminary attempts before finding the one the client is happy with. Because of this, I charge a fee for any commission where I must have an open dialogue with a client consulting the design process, where they are given multiple design options to choose from for the final Design/Commission. Typically, the design should be ironed out with minimal revisions between iterations, as excessive alterations and requests from a client will result in added charges. Having even simple / rough reference images helps this process along smoothly and swiftly. (A consultation where we seek references and ideas together via Discord is okay!) This charge does not apply to normal WIP sketches or pose selections but instead to those who need me to create a custom design such as an Original Character without a reference sheet or any otherwise design-heavy creation that requires MULTIPLE revisions, MULTIPLE sketches, and sometimes MULTIPLE color palette options BEFORE the final commission can even begin. Example: Client requests me to design their character, which results in 2 or more sketches of hair styles, outfits, and color palettes - resulting in upwards of 6 + sketches with color total. This fee covers the arduous time spent on this process before final render.

Reference Sheets / Character Sheets

•Reference/Character SheetsA character sheet with at least one full body render, typically more, generally in color, and traditionally with multiple angles, outfit states, clothing options, or facial expressions as well as some text details and a color palette.Variable. As a rough estimate, ref sheets can range from $145 - $400+ USD based on complexity.Moderate - SlowReference/Character Sheets are large commissions typically containing full body renders in 1 or more angles/poses, with at minimum flat colors to match the character's color palette, nude and clothed or more versions, potentially various hairstyles / outfits, some character information like a small biography section, and sometimes even some varied facial expressions. Reference Sheets are intended to be 'official' character reference art with all the key components needed to communicate their basic/important information, aesthetics, vibe, style, character design, color palette, and sometimes even measurements, either to other artists or to the world at large. They are incredibly helpful and almost mandatory for both OC hoarders, avid commissioners, roleplayers, vtubers, and fan-artists alike.
